2D Animations

Illustration and animation give me space to work with mood and surface through sketching, scanning, and layering. These techniques help introduce a sense of tactility, even when the outcome stays fully digital.

Context

Illustration and animation are often a space where I explore mood, rhythm, and surface. I use sketching, folding, scanning, and both physical and digital collage to test how materials interact and to create images with a certain visual texture. Cut-out techniques and layered compositions help me find a balance between control and chance, allowing small imperfections to shape the final result. These processes help me bring tactility into digital work and keep a sense of physical presence, even when everything stays on screen. I’ve also used this approach in social media content, aiming to create visuals that feel more grounded and haptic. It is a way to stay connected to material processes while building visual language that is adaptable, personal, and quietly textured.
